Users own their assets
Every product decision starts from one rule — Jaxx Liberty never touches user funds. We build for people who hold their own keys.
Jaxx Liberty is a long-running, independent crypto wallet team. We ship a non-custodial wallet that supports 100+ assets across desktop, mobile and the browser, and we are always looking for engineers, designers and operators who care about doing this work properly.
We have been around since 2014. Through every market cycle, the team has stayed focused on the same problem — giving people a simple, reliable, self-custody wallet they can actually use every day. We are not here to chase a narrative. We are here to keep one of the longest-running crypto wallets safe, current and pleasant to use.
Working at Jaxx Liberty means joining a small, senior, distributed team. The product surface is wide — cryptography, mobile, desktop, web, content, support — and most engineers will touch more than one of those areas. We prefer people who care about end-to-end ownership over narrow specialization.
We hire globally. We work remotely. We talk to our users constantly. And we try, with every release, to make Jaxx Liberty slightly more boring and slightly more dependable than it was the week before.
These are the values that guide what we build and how we work together. They are not posters on a wall — they are the rules we apply when we have to pick between two reasonable options.

Predictable balances, clean recovery, honest error messages. The unglamorous foundations are what active crypto users rely on most.
We explain what the wallet does, what it doesn't, and what risks remain. The user makes the final decision, every time.
Crypto cycles come and go. We build for the people who stay through every one of them and need a wallet that does the same.
Engineers and designers own end-to-end slices of the product. Fewer hand-offs, more direct conversations with the people who use it.
Most of the team is fully remote, with optional hubs in Toronto and Lisbon. We organize around outcomes, not seat hours.
All roles are remote-friendly with overlap into either European or North American time zones. If you do not see a role that fits but think you would be a strong addition to the team, send us a note anyway.
Own critical paths in the wallet core: key management, signing, network adapters and recovery. You'll work close to the cryptography and care deeply about correctness under unreliable network conditions.
Build and ship the Jaxx Liberty mobile experience. You'll work across UI, performance and platform-specific security primitives such as Secure Enclave and Keystore.
Drive the web wallet, the marketing site and the support portal. You'll partner with design to ship a clean, accessible interface that respects users on slow networks and old devices.
Integrate new networks, audit third-party providers we depend on for swaps, and help us evaluate emerging chains before they reach the wallet.
Shape how active crypto users move through balances, recovery and swaps. You'll prototype quickly, work tightly with engineering and prioritize clarity over decoration.
Lead our internal security program, threat-model new features, manage external audits and run a clean disclosure program with the wider crypto community.
Be the human voice users hear when something doesn't go as expected. You'll write clear, calm answers about recovery, swaps and platform behaviour.
Turn complex wallet behaviour into honest, accurate documentation. You'll write the guides we wish every wallet shipped with.
We try to keep benefits simple, generous and consistent across every region we hire from. Specific details depend on local employment law and your contract type, and we are transparent about both before you join.
We aim to make every step short, useful and respectful of your time. The whole process typically takes two to three weeks from first contact to written offer.
Send us a CV or a link to past work. A short note about why this role fits goes further than a long cover letter.
A 30-minute conversation with the hiring lead to talk about the role, the team and your priorities.
A focused, paid take-home or live session that mirrors the actual work — no whiteboard puzzles unrelated to the job.
Meet two or three teammates, ask anything, and receive a written offer with full transparency on compensation and equity.
Send your CV, a portfolio or a link to anything you have shipped that you are proud of. We read every application personally — no applicant-tracking black hole.
